Late afternoon departure from San Juan, with some pretty heavy cloud cover. After pushback, we taxied out past the rest of the terminal to the west end of the airport, then crossed over the road to Runway 08 on the north end of the airport, which gave me a perfect view of the beach as we took off. After takeoff, we made an immediate left turn to the north, and then again to the northwest, and continued our climb through the big clouds.
