About 20 years ago Tim Stafford produced a video for Flatpicking Guitar Magazine titled "Acoustic Guitar Fundamentals." In the video Tim presented his ideas about Tone, Timing, Tuning, Taste, and Technique. In this excerpt from that video we present a segment of the Timing portion of the video where Tim describes how to work with a timing device in order to improve your sense of Time. Although Tim is demonstrating on the guitar, his advice here would apply to how to improve your Timing on any instrument.
