Huge improvement over the Studio 5 in my opinion! Now with stereo tweeters and the mid woofer and bass passive radiator are now centered, the emitted sound is totally balanced. Studio 5 has the bass passive radiator on the left side and the woofer and tweeter on the right. Also the response seems to have a bit more midrange which I also like. The Harman Kardon Studio 8 shouldn't be too different from the 7 in terms of sound, maybe just minor improvements in the tuning.
