The "D-Day Experience" at Dead Man's Corner Museum in Sainte Come du Mont, in Normandy is a "must see" for anyone interested in the history of D-Day.
I came away from this a bit stunned. This high tech experience very closely replicated what we D-Day paratroopers saw, felt and heard on on D-Day in 1944.
At 12:30 AM on 6 June 1944 I landed on our Drop Zone just north of Sainte Come du Mont. I fought in the Normandy campaign for 33 days until our unit (101st Airborne Division) was returned to our base in Wiltshire, England.
