Professor Ray Dorsey, MD, MBA, is a professor of neurology and a world-leading expert in Parkinson’s disease. He serves as the Director of the Center for Human Experimental Therapeutics and the Center for the Brain & the Environment at the University of Rochester Medical Center. A pioneer in the use of telemedicine to expand access to neurological care, Dr. Dorsey is transforming how we understand and manage Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.

His research has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and NPR, and published in the world’s leading medical journals. He formerly directed the movement disorders division at Johns Hopkins and worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company. He completed his undergraduate studies at Stanford University and received both his MD and MBA from the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Dorsey is the co-author of the widely acclaimed book Ending Parkinson’s Disease, and his latest book, The Parkinson’s Plan, offers a powerful, evidence-based blueprint for prevention, early recognition, and care.
