The sight of Holland America Line’s Noordam looking elegant with the Sydney Opera House at Sunrise on a warm Spring Morning. She had just completed her long 28 day repositioning Cruise across the vast Pacific Ocean from Seattle, Washington to Sydney.
She arrived for the first time in two years to start her 2025 / 26 season.
On that morning you can see a very large number of her passengers were viewing her arrival from the bow of the ship which must have looked amazing on that beautiful morning.
The rumbling sound that can be heard sometimes in the background of the video is the trains travelling across the Sydney Harbour Bridge and as always the sound of birds at sunrise.
Noordam is currently on a 14 day cruise from Auckland to Sydney.
She will be visiting Tauranga, Napier, Picton, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, Fiordland National Park, Hobart, Melbourne, arriving back in Sydney on the 7th of December.
Noordam was built in 2006.
