Calling all fans of everything spooky and scary! The Frida Cinema welcomes back Montopolis for our October event Ghost Almanac: An Evening Of Classic Horror!
So what is it? Ghost Almanac: An Evening of Classic Horror with Live Music by Montopolis is a multimedia event where the Austin-based indie chamber group Montopolis performs a live score with foley effects to classic horror film clips! The show features scenes from films like Nosferatu and The Skeleton Dance, combining the vintage horror of silent cinema with Montopolis’s genre-defying, modern classical music, which includes elements of rock, electronic, and ambient music.
