The residents of Green River Cove remain puzzled about the family’s origin, believing they may have been passing through or staying in a local Airbnb.

Located southeast of Asheville, Green River Cove was devastated by Hurricane Helene, with approximately 40 homes completely washed away. In a previous interview, local resident Eileen expressed her frustration over the lack of government assistance.
