Hi! Welcome to my channel. All songs here are a collaboration between my subconscious, my conscious, and two types of AI. In short, they are dream songs. I've kept dream journals since 2002. I use ChatGPT to select the dreams and create genre prompts. I edit the lyrics and genres myself to get things right and I use Suno to make the songs. I've created about 20-30 songs per year of dream journaling. I'll slowly be adding them here. I hope you enjoy!
Lyrics:
[Intro: glacial pads + faint bells, slow breathing space]
A garden in Japan,
Quiet earth beneath my feet.
Mayumi and Maitri walking behind me,
Lantern light trembling in the breeze.
[Verse 1: shimmering synth halo]
I step ahead through winding paths,
Stone and moss holding ancient calm.
Then a presence settles beside me—
A white fox-shape, breathing like a song.
Turquoise eyes
Soft as water in a mountain spring.
It watches me,
And something in the air turns sacred.
[Chorus: drifting pads expanding outward]
The Zen stands close—
Myth in a living form.
Unphotographable,
Body made of quiet and storm.
I feel it guarding me,
And I guard it back in turn.
Two beings holding stillness
In a world that rarely learns.
[Verse 2: distant chimes, slow pulses]
Maitri reaches me, whispering,
“Daddy, is that real?”
Other travelers gather,
Their excitement sharp and unreal.
One reaches too quickly—
A careless hand toward fragile light.
The Zen slips away,
Silent as falling night.
[Chorus: soft bells scattered across a wide soundfield]
The Zen disappears—
Only its warmth remains.
A spirit leaving gently,
Like a whisper without a name.
And though the moment fades,
It glows like breath on glass—
A trace of something ancient
That chose me as it passed.
[Bridge: minimal vocals, half-spoken, airy reverb]
I try to show Mayumi the photos—
But the screen is blank,
Nothing saved,
Nothing captured,
Nothing held.
Some things refuse to be taken.
Some things only exist
In the heart that witnesses them.
[Verse 3: deeper pad swell, slow rhythmic shimmer]
Mayumi says she saw a flicker—
White fur, a tail,
A glint of blue.
We walk on through the dimming garden,
Holding the moment
Like a rare and delicate truth.
[Final Chorus: long sustained chords, glacial and wide]
The Zen was here—
Breathing warmth into the shade.
Turquoise eyes remembering
Every promise nature made.
Unphotographable magic,
Born of silence, born of air—
A creature from between worlds
That found me standing there.
[Outro: dissolving pads + distant windchimes]
Some spirits live in pictures.
Some spirits live in stories.
But the Zen
Lives only in the moment—
And the moment
Livs in me.
