After a depressing time at Loch Doon, a place we love, (but we didn't even bother to record we were so fed up), we left and headed back to Dumfries and Galloway where it was much more quiet and peaceful. Well mostly anyway.
Although it's a very bumpy and uneven road, the scenery at Raiders Road is beautiful with forests, rapids, a loch and even a beautiful stone bridge.
The Raiders Road is closed in the winter months for forestry work to continue.
