Even though the majority of the audience cannot understand the language from the song, its brilliant tunes should never be missed by every delicate ear.

Maybe people outside Poland rarely know this band Lady Pank. For Polish people, Lady Pank is a monument to Polish rock and a pride of Polish music scene. Formed in 1981 in Wrocław, Lady Pank got some fame not only in Poland but also garnered some attention in USA, whose songs spread across continents in 1985. For non-Polish, Lady Pank's albums are pretty nice, filled with melodic rock treasures and great charms as blessings for ears.

As of 2024, the band experienced 43 years. Today they are still active on stage. Lady Pank is a prolific band. From the 1983 debut to the latest album in 2022, each decade saw the miracles they created. They never stop creating and rocking and always keep miracles going on. For all the non-Polish fans including me, the band is worth hearing.

Lady Pank's ST debut was released in 1983. The year saw the band perform live 369 times, which is a very big and incredible number with almost every live show every day in the year. After another three years the total number of live shows grew to over 800, a record at the time in Poland. Big numbers of live shows made the band win big fame and popularity and become one of the most influential rock bands in the country.

Among Lady Pank's albums, I highly recommend this epic album "Zawsze tam, gdzie ty", the 8th album released in 1990. The title means "Always There Where You Are" in English. Originally, the album was recorded on the cassette as it is shown in the left picture. Then the vinyl and the CD came out, distributed in Poland, Canada and USA. In the following 18 years, this album was reissued several times on different formations, which is one of the most classic albums of the band in their decades of careers.

Musically, this album features nostalgic aor taste. Apart from its Polish language recording, there is no big difference betweenPolish-singing band Lady Pank and many other English-singing aor bands during the same period of time. The album contains all the vibrant, soulful and tuneful songs. Each song carries hooks and charms in detail. Undoubtedly, the album "Zawsze tam, gdzie ty" stands on the top level among early 1990s aor releases.

Polish language is not familiar to the majority of people outside Poland including me, a typical minority language which belongs to West Slavic language of the Lechitic group and even sounds difficult in pronunciation, but after hearing some of the songs from this album, I think the band can be accepted by aor fans outside Poland. Language won't become a barrier for anyone to enjoy good music, because we appreciate music by heart.

This song is the opening track "Dopóki Da Czas", which means "As Long As Time Allows" in English. Musically, the song is a vibrant and brilliant aor gem, featuring terrific arrangements with magic key works and excellent guitars. It was written by late Polish singer Jacek Skubikowski in lyrics and Lady Pank's co-founder/guitarist Jan Borysewicz. When the song starts, every hungry ear cannot resist the charms of its brilliant and colourful tunes.

Besides, let me introduce the theme title song "Zawsze tam, gdzie ty". This is a distinctive song from the full-length album, a magic and smooth work, featuring only guitars and vocals, creating a vibe of peace. The acoustic sounds on both rhythm guitar and solo guitar without distortion open up a fantastic aor world like a music journey to the dreamland. Lady Pank loved to perform this song at the concert and hear audience singing it together.
