Filmed on Monday, October 21 2024, I drive around the University of Cincinnati campus to see what's going on.
The University of Cincinnati was chartered by the Ohio legislature in 1870. By 1893, the university began to expand and relocated to its present location in the Heights neighborhood of Cincinnati.
The university continued to expand by merging with Cincinnati Law School, the Ohio Medical College, and the Queen City College of Pharmacy.
In 1962, the university acquired the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
In 1971, the university became one of the first institutions to offer a women's studies course, signaling the beginning of the end of academia.
