Get ready to fold some fun with this easy Origami Shirt activity!
Materials Needed:
. Construction paper or orgami paper of any colour
.Markers
. Ruler
. Scissors
. Buttons or stickers – To decorate your shirt after folding.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Fold the paper in half lengthwise.
• Crease it well and then unfold. This creates a centerline to guide your folds.
2. Fold both long edges to the centerline.
• You now have two flaps meeting at the center.
3. Flip the paper over.
• Then fold one short edge up about 1 inch (2–3 cm). This will become the collar.
4. Flip the paper back.
• Now, fold both top corners diagonally outward to form a collar shape.
5. Take the bottom edge and fold it up toward the collar.
• Tuck it slightly under the collar flaps to secure it.
6. Press down firmly to crease all edges.
• Your origami shirt is ready!
7. (Optional) Decorate with buttons, ties, or fun patterns using markers or stickers! stickers, or buttons – To decorate your shirt after folding.
