Running Elden Ring Day One Using Steam Proton on Arch Linux

In this video, I have taken excerpts from my twitch stream to show what it is like to run a new game on day one using Linux. We will be running Elden Ring using Proton. I hope this will highlight some of the troubleshooting steps a user can expect when running a game on Linux and how to work around some problems.
There are still numerous bugs with the release, performance issues being a major one as well as invisible enemies. These issues are unrelated to Linux / Wine or Proton.
I have confirmed that EAC prevents Linux users from accessing online play at this time.
