Solo Hiking to a Hidden Hut in the Coast Mountains

This video captures a peaceful solo backpacking trip up to the beautiful Wendy Thompson Hut in Whistler. Starting at twilight, I trek through stunning alpine scenery with incredible views on the way up.

At the hut, I connect with fellow hikers, enjoy some great food, and get a restful night before exploring the surrounding wilderness. I visit unnamed lakes and iconic viewpoints, spotting famous peaks like Mount Marriott, Mount Joffre, and Mount Rohr in the distance.

The video then shifts to life in Whistler—paddling down the serene River of Golden Dreams, attending the magical Vallea Lumina event, and hiking to the breathtaking Rainbow Falls and Rainbow Park. A perfect blend of backcountry adventure and awesome local experiences!
