On December 14, 2025, as a winter storm closed in on Grindavík, Iceland, a lone figure was spotted walking up the road toward AfarTV’s camera installations on Þorbjörn Mountain. Moments later, Camera A began shaking violently. Within minutes, the feed went dark.

Sadly, this was not an isolated incident. It follows a troubling pattern of deliberate interference with AfarTV’s operations in Iceland—interference that has directly contributed to the ongoing technical difficulties many of you have noticed with our cameras.
