DRACO AVIATION - 1977 CESSNA F172J HAWK XP II, THE UPDATE

This is the update video of the one we already made some time ago and we published this morning again. We said we`d publish the update tomorrow but well, here we are and here it comes.

This is a 1977 CESSNA F172J HAWK XPII Powered by a CONTINENTAL FUEL INJECTED IO-360-KB of 210 horsepower.
This is the gapfill between the CESSNA 172 SKYHAWK and its bigger brother, the CESSNA SKYLANE. It has superior performance and it is a great travel machine.

Since we published the video early MAY (replaced and republished this morning), this aircraft has undergone a NOSE JOB sort of speak. Namely, the current owner/seller indicates that he purchased the plane a while ago as to MAKE IT THE BEST EQUIPPED HAWK XP out there. He spared no expenses and went all out. Now recently, actually just now the plane came out of the workshop and was given the honor to be propelled by a HARTZELL 3 BLADE SCIMITAR PROPELLER that makes it run smoother, with less vibrations and has better takeoff and climb performance and then we did not talk about improving cruise.

The aircraft has partial GARMIN upgrades with GI275 PFD and CDI as well as a GI275 EIS and a GMA350 AUDIO PANEL, GTN650 (non Xi) COM NAV GPS, a GNS430 COM NAV GPS (both with WAAS) and a GTX345 ADS-B IN & OUT TRANSPONDER.
NO AUTOPILOT.

Now here is where we come in as we want to keep some of the avionics that the aircraft was given and reallocate them on the panel and we propose to either go with G3X TOUCH or G500TXi upgrades including a 10.6" DISPLAY (MAIN PFD/ND/MFD/EIS) and a 7" EIS/MFD display. Where is the biggest difference? Well, in the fact that we propose giving it GFC500 AUTOPILOT with SMARTGLIDE and UNDERSPEED/OVERSPEED PROTECTION and ENHANCED STABILITY PROTECTION as well. This would be a 3 axys version.
