Only a couple days after Hurricane Melissa made landfall in Jamaica, we sent a team in to talk with survivors and check in with our local partners hard at work helping their communities. These are their stories.
CURRENTLY: we are working on raising $250,000 for immediate relief for Hurricane Melissa. In addition, we are currently working on planning a volunteer deployment to send a crew down to help with cleanup efforts.
Our local partners (including the ones in this video!) have been working with their communities since the storm hit, providing emergency supplies and relief, but the work has barely begun. Disaster recovery is a slow process, but we're here for the long-haul.
