External PCIe Slot connected to Laptop

The eGPU pcie slot is a really good addition to your laptop because it can enable you to use normal PCIe cards with nearly any laptop. The slot as its nane suggests is to be used with a GPU but you can unfold your imagination and use it with for example audio cards or TV tuner cards. Wifi cards etc. I use it with a TV tuner card and a 4amp power supply and it works nicely. The slot uses the express card slot to connect with the laptop. If you use GPU, you have to be careful not to use a super expensive and power demanding one because laptops cannot compare to desktops in term of hardware strenght so the GPU will not be able to unfold her strenght. Instead if you go lower with a power efficient GPU everything will be better. Lets set an example. I use the same GPU to play battlefield on the desktop with dual xeon and 8gb of ram. The game will play with max settings with no lags. On the laptop now with i7 and 8gb of ram, the game will be good on medium settings with the same GPU connected to the slot.
