The Cadence Project

Too many young people around the world leave school without a basic sense of how cultural competency evolves over time, or the necessary soft-skills like interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills. Education should provide young adults with the skills needed to participate in the rapidly changing global economy. Given the state of international relations and the global economic climate, we need impactful, scalable and less costly foreign exchange options for young people. The aim of The Cadence Project is to build a global network of schools participating in a spoken poetry program for peer-to-peer international virtual exchange, technology-enabled, face-to-face learning platform.
