Now its glare, having past through some of the most
anarchic images and raucous chimes in pop history,
is now fixing its beam on an area of performance
with a simple nostalgic theme. Pat wade is such a performer,
his songs are about the irreversible path of youth transcending
into disenchanted adulthood, Pats music fits comfortably
into the category of folkpop with strains of heavy rock
minus the barbaric indulgence.This material possesses a
sincere clarity which makes Pats songs just as good as
any blustering chorus of down with the government or
the fancy gimmickry of electronic indigestion.
He is plain simple and to the point wherein lie the
seeds to his success, Some years have past since pat made a determined
commitment to the minstrel road Forever a perfectionist
he has worked with countless talents who perhaps shared
his ambitions. As soon as he smelt enthusiasm on the wane
he would break ties maybe a little more disillusioned but
certainly a few good songs wiser. Complacency is definitely
not on his blue-print. Despite these disappointments pat
prefers playing in front of a live audience and has settled
with a backing band (THE MEANS) who can deliver his songs
with enough verve to enthrall the most demanding crowd.
