John JR Robinson, the most recorded drummer in the world, mics his kit up with Blue Microphones joined by John Maier (CEO of Blue Microphone) and Michael Tuller (producer/engineer) to discuss the fine details of mic selection and placement including demos of various mic combinations.
JR is using his personal DW Collector's Series Maple SSC kit, Burnt Toast Fade over Exotic Quilted Redwood with Chrome hardware.
8x12 and 9x13 (VLT + 3ply rehoops), 13x16 (X + 3ply rehoops), 14x18 and 18x24 (VLX + 3ply rehoops) and a 6.5x14 Concrete Snare Drum.
