What it’s REALLY Like For A Foreigner to Visit the Doctors in Germany

Let me start off by saying, if you’ve watched any of my other videos, you’ll know that I’m a huge fan of the German healthcare system… but the process of actually GOING to the doctor as a foreigner can feel terrifying… and can often leave me feeling entirely defeated.

I filmed myself from my iPhone on my way out of the clinic because I wanted to show you firsthand what it’s like as a foreigner going to the doctor and how it can often feel.

I’ll leave you with a few words of wisdom here that are brutal but true…

Here in Germany, you don’t get what you want by being nice (which is the opposite in Canada)… you get what you want by being assertive and strong.
