Places to visit -
Suruler rajbari - 5 kms away from shantiniketan main city is a must visit place. 290 years old rajbari was made by Srinivas sarkar a industrialist. The rajbari offers a heritage feel and a traditional Durga puja with few terracotta temples surrounded.
Entry fee - 20/- per head

Srijani shilpagram - A traditional place where bangla village culture meets cultural environment with functions and other events. A perfect place for family. Entry - fee - 30/- (concession for students if ID card available)

Prakriti bhavan - A different feeling all over where nature creates arts of its own in a natural way through stones and fossils. A must visit place for everyone. Very near to Sonajhuri haat.
Entry fee - 20/- per head

Shantiniketan buddha vihar - An isolate place with an ambience of a perfect Buddha temple throughout. Open to all.

Sonajhuri haat - The main attraction of Shantiniketan with a huge collection of traditional garments both for women and men with the touch of traditional bangla culture surrounded in the pine forest is a blend of nature and shopping in the open with the support of saotal dances and mesmerizing bowl sangeet


Geetanjali railway museum - Located just opposite to Bolpur shantiniketan station is a must visit place for all Rabindranath Tagore lovers because of its collection of the lifespan history of Rabindranath tagore through rare photos, manuscripts, descriptions along with few belongings as well.
