US releases footage it says shows its operations against Houthis

Footage released by the United States Central Command on Friday (April 18) showed what they say were its operations against the Houthis militant group.

The release of the videos follows reports by the Houthi-run health ministry that US strikes on Yemen's Ras Isa fuel terminal on the Red Sea coast have killed at least 74 people. That will be the deadliest attack since the U.S. started its bombing campaign against the Houthis last year.

US President Donald Trump ordered the intensification of strikes last month in the biggest US military operation in the Middle East since he took office in January. Washington has vowed to keep attacking the Iran-aligned Houthis until the group halts attacks on ships in the Red Sea.
