In this 2nd episode of our Romania series The Cultural Travelers arrived in the former capital of Transylvania, Sibiu.
Sibiu is a city filled with history, charm, and timeless beauty.The Brukenthal National Museum with invaluable art objects is one of our top recommendations. We make an interesting city walk and enjoy the busy Great Square, climb the Council Tower and discover the legends of the Bridge of Lies. In the second half of the video, we hit the road for one of the world’s most spectacular drives — the Transfagarasan Mountain Road. Along the way, we encounter breathtaking scenery, waterfalls, dramatic valleys, sharp hairpin turns, and even a wild bear! Our adventure ends in Curtea de Argeș, where one of the most important Romanian orthodox churches is our final destination.
