This is a step-by-step video detailing the disassembly and assembly of the 5th Generation Honda Goldwing (Gold Wing) GL1800 motorcycle right switch housing, down to the repair of the cruise control switch. Includes years 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. Along the way you’ll be able to see how to disassemble and assemble the cruise control button housing which also includes the reverse and start switches. This video show details concerning the throttle cables and removal, disassembly, cleaning and assembly of the cruise control switch. At the end of the video, I share some tips and tricks during the process. There was some camera failure near the end of the video, but if you follow the first few disassembly instructions backwards, you should easily be able to screw in the final 5 screws. This same method could be used to repair the hazard, RVS Reverse and mute switch buttons as well.
