Windows Setup - Adding setup files into the WinPE in boot.wim

🔹 Hey all! In this video, I'm adding the setup files (Sources folder and setup.exe) into the PE/RE found in Windows setup ISO.

🔹 7-Zip: https://www.7-zip.org/
🔹 oscdimg: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B3yPM...
Extract "oscdimg.exe" into "C:\Windows\System32" before running the command(s) utilizing it.

▶ Commands Used ◀

🔹 Build ISO:
oscdimg -m -o -u2 -udfver102 -bootdata:2#p0,e,bG:\OperatingSystems\iso\boot\etfsboot.com#pEF,e,bG:\OperatingSystems\iso\efi\microsoft\boot\efisys.bin G:\OperatingSystems\iso G:\OperatingSystems\Win10.iso
Change "G:\OperatingSystems\iso" to your desired path of extracted ISO files.
Change "G:\OperatingSystems\Win10.iso" to your desired path to rebuild the ISO.

🔹 Mount boot.wim, Image 1:
dism /Mount-Image /ImageFile:iso\sources\boot.wim /index:1 /MountDir:mount
"iso" folder contains the extracted ISO file.
Change "mount" to any empty folder or create one with the same name, next to your "iso" folder.

🔹 Unmount wim and commit changes:
dism /Unmount-Image /MountDir:mount /Commit
