Kefalonia, Greece ⛵ A week of slow living and beautiful scenery

In September, we visited the gorgeous Greek island of Kefalonia! Our main focus was to just slow down and relax for a few days, so we didn't cram our days with plans but took it easy and explored at our own pace. We spent most of our time in Karavomylos and Sami, but throughout the days you will see that we also visited Drogarati Cave, Agia Efimia, the nearby island of Ithaca, the village of Valsamata and the capital - Argostoli.
The island is a really beautiful place, and felt surprisingly calm and quiet for a Greek island during the warmer months. We had the beaches to ourselves a lot of the time, and spent our hours, swimming, snorkelling, taking walks, reading, eating fresh local fish and soaking up the sun. It was the most most perfect birthday trip I could have asked for!
