Nox Archaist (Apple II, emuliert) Intro und Gameplay

Nox Archaist ist ein neues Computerrollenspiel, welches für das Apple II System programmiert und im Stil der alten, klassischen Rollenspiele der z.b. Ultima Serie oder der Phantasie Reihe der frühen 80er Jahre erschaffen wurde. Der unverzeihliche Schwierigkeitsgrad der alten Titel wurde ebenfalls beibehalten, so endet die Reise in die stilisierte Vergangenheit leider nicht mit einem Happy End :)


Ich habe mir die Collector's Edition von Nox Archaist direkt von den Entwicklern bestellt, diese beinhaltet ein schön designtes Handbuch (das Cover wurde von niemand geringeren als Denis Loubet, welcher bereits seit den 80er Jahren unter anderem die Artworks der gesamten Ultima Reihe erstellte, designt), eine große Spielebox, eine Stoffkarte und andere kleinere Goodies, und ist damit ein weiterer Schatz in meiner Sammlung :)

Nox Archaist is a new computer role-playing game, which is programmed for the Apple II system and was created in the style of the old classic role-playing games of e. g. Ultima series or the fantasy series of the early 80s. The unforgivable difficulty of the old titles has also been retained, so the journey into the stylized past unfortunately does not end with a happy end :)


I ordered the Collector’s Edition of Nox Archaist directly from the developers, it contains a beautifully designed manual (the cover was designed by no one less than Denis Loubet, who created among other things the artworks of the entire Ultima series since the 80’s), a large game box, a cloth map and other smaller goodies, making it another treasure in my collection: )
