Michigan Urban Trout Fishing - The Battle For a Fish and a Day of Redemption!!

This stream has been quite a challenge in past years! Finally I was able to get some trout out of it. I know this stream has brown trout, steelhead, rainbow trout, suckers and plenty of other warm water fish species in it!
The fish that were caught in the river were all brood stocked trout. This means they are all stocked my the MDNR. Brook stocked trout are fish that lived out most of their lives in a hatchery system and were used for eggs. Once their purpose is up they get released. This stream was one to be lucky enough to get some brood stocked trout.
