Here at CHoR, our expert interventional cardiologists partner with neonatal intensive care units across Virginia and surrounding states for PDA closures in babies as small as 1.5 pounds (700g). Patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) is just one of the heart conditions that are treated in our full-service cardiac catheterization lab, using a minimally invasive procedure to treat congenital heart defects in infants and children instead of open-heart surgery.
