Scenic Driving Tour from Dalaman Airport to Fethiye, Turkey | Beautiful Coastal Views

I'm often asked about the journey from Dalaman Airport to Fethiye, Hisarönü or Ölüdeniz, what are the roads like? how long does it take?
Well after a recent visit to Dalaman Airport I took the opportunity to film the journey for your enjoyment. The drive today took just under an hour. If you are travelling to Hisarönü or Ölüdeniz I would add on another 10 or 15 minutes.

We start the tour from Dalaman Airport Departure, heading through security and on to the main highway. We head towards Göcek going through the Göcek tunnel. (The current cost of Göcek tunnel for a car one way is 41TL which is about 92p) and then on to the centre of Fethiye.

Today I'm in my car but you can use various modes of transport to get from the airport to your destination.

A popular alternative to the package holiday coach transfer is to take a private transfer. The current cost for this starts from £40 one way depending on the number of passengers and luggage requirements. I highly recommend using a local company called Blue Lagoon Transfer. You can also grab a regular taxi from outside the main exit, just be sure to get a fixed price before you leave.

Dalaman Airport is an international airport and one of three serving southwest Turkey, the others being Milas–Bodrum Airport and Antalya Airport. It has two terminals. The old terminal is used for domestic flights and the new terminal is for international flights.
The airport serves the surrounding tourist areas of Ölüdeniz, Dalyan, Fethiye, Hisarönü, Ovacık, Kaş, Kalkan and Dalaman. Flights are available to and from over 120 destinations throughout the year.
