This is a vey-close-to-memoir story all about my very real stage fright and how it was gloriously overcome once in order to play Cinderella.
It is also a salute to the great tradition of the fireside and pub story-teller whose craft and wonder was largely smothered by the advent of television.
To an extent it is kept alive by such noble events as the pub evenings at the recent Drimoleague Singing Festival.
