Into the Winter Night — A Dark Progressive House Journey Above Oslo

Hey, and welcome to another one of my “emotional” DJ sessions.

This one was recorded spontaneously on the rooftop of a friend’s place, overlooking the Oslo skyline. We were having a small dinner party and decided to make the most of the sunset before heading inside. I wanted to capture the little sparks of joy moments like this give me. I’m incredibly weak for sunsets — there’s always this mix of existentialism and gratefulness that hits me.

Early in the set you’ll hear that feeling: slower tempos, warm melodies, a bit uplifting, calm, and easy to digest. As the sun fades and the sky slides from sunset into dusk, the mood shifts. The playful, light colors disappear, and the music grows heavier, deeper, and groovier — more serious in the best way.

Moments like this still get me. I feel lucky to create and share these sessions with the people around me — and with you who keep coming back. Thanks to the friends who keep encouraging me to spend time doing what I love. :)
