RUSH - The Spirit of Radio - Drum Cover by Nick Cesarz

Happy birthday, Neil Peart.

Back when YouTube was just getting started, the very first videos I uploaded here were Rush drum covers. Songs like Limelight, Tom Sawyer, and YYZ.

This performance of The Spirit of Radio is the first full drum cover I’ve recorded in years outside of the short form clips I’ve been posting recently. Rush and Neil Peart were a huge influence on my playing, and this song has always been one of my favorites to sit behind the kit and play.

There are definitely some mistakes in this cover, but it was a blast to play. I hope you enjoy. And apologies, there's no MalletKat. 😭
