This lecture starts by stating a non-negotiable fact: We are always in choice; it is not possible to be outside of choice. “Always” means “all” things, all ways and never not. Therefore, the Guides explain that since the choices continue regardless of what state we align to, when we choose to abide in the Upper Room, the choices we make are remarkably different from the choices we would make in the lower echelon. They emphasize that there is a degree of understanding that we come to in the Upper Room about who and what we are that subsequently informs all our choices. Again, they choose the word “all”. In this realization in the Upper Room, you begin to recognize Truth all about you because the truth of who you are will only align you to truth. It is in this stage of the process the Guides express that the choices become simple because you are now operating in the knowing and recognition of truth which cannot choose fear or allow fear to decide through itself. It is in this stage when the New may begin to assimilate itself as the life being lived.
