Silviniaco Conti enhanced Paul Nicholls fantastic record in the Betfair Chase, making all for a comfortable success under the guidance of Ruby Walsh.

Nicholls had earlier witnessed the unveiling of a bronze statue of Kauto Star, which honours the four-time winner of the Haydock showpiece, with the gelding leading the runners during the pre-parade and out onto the track to a great ovation.
