Are 5 Hole Native American Flutes missing something?

In this video, we will do a side by side comparison of Native American Flutes with five and six finger holes. Does having one less finger hole make a Native American Flute more limited in any way?

Native American Flutes are still mostly made by hand and modern versions emerge from and sometimes represent a merging of many different flute traditions. The construction and design of them remains less standardized than for most industrially produced instruments. Even the number of finger holes can vary.
