On November 29, 2025, I visited EP Enterprise on the East Coast and heard heartbreaking stories from families living without roads, water, electricity, security, or proper garbage management; single mothers walking miles in the dark; a teacher robbed twice in one day; homes stripped of windows, doors, generators, and building materials; and residents paying up to $15,000 per black tank of water that isn’t even clean. This is the reality behind the housing numbers: a land allocation is not a home, a dam is not a road, and trench water is not development. The people of EP Enterprise deserve better, and their voices must be heard.
