While researching for my second visit to Romania, I found out about the most remote village in Romania. That immediately sparked my interest so I decided to look into getting there.

The name of the village is Inelet and it's nearby the well known town of Baile Herculane. In order to get there you have to hike up wooden ladders along the cliffside. Cars can't get there at all so the locals really rely on horses or donkeys to bring in goods. Also an interesting fact is that locals use a barter system and not money to trade within the village.
