Four Rode Out (1969) is a tense Western survival drama following four very different men forced together after a jailbreak goes wrong. As they flee across the unforgiving desert, heat, thirst, and mistrust begin to destroy them from the inside. Each man hides a past, a motive, and a secret — and not all of them intend to reach the border alive.
The film strips the Western genre down to its raw core: survival, guilt, redemption, and the cost of freedom when there is nowhere left to run.
