· The Frenzied Guardians: In the center of the platform, Dialga and Palkia are locked in a violent, chaotic battle. 2. The Battle Phase: After successfully landing enough balms, the deity will be temporarily stunned. This is your chance to engage it in a turn-based battle. You must weaken it with your own Pokémon, but the goal is not to make it faint. You need to reduce its health enough to make it capturable.
3. The Capture: Once sufficiently weakened, you can throw a Poké Ball—typically an Ultra Ball or Jet Ball—to attempt a capture. Successfully capturing one deity will cause the other to become even more enraged, and you must immediately repeat the process of quenching and capturing the second.

A Choice and Its Consequence

A pivotal moment in this mission is the choice you are forced to make. The Diamond and Pearl Clans leaders, Adaman and Irida, will each plead with you to focus on capturing their clan's deity first (Dialga for Adaman, Palkia for Irida).
