Installing Hunter PGP Pop-Up Sprinklers, Poly Pipe Fittings, Flushing Out & Testing this Bushfire Safety Irrigation System to see if after all of that effort it actually worked!
After being welcomed to off grid life with a flood 2 metres higher than ever seen before, we knew bushfire season was the next thing to prepare for before getting too comfortable.
So we got busy installing a series of 6 pop-up sprinklers and 2 hydrant points powered by a Yellow Davey Firefighter Pump.
The poly running from the pump to mound is 2", then splits off into 3x 1.5" sections, and the hydrants split off into 1" outlets, while the sprinklers have 3/4" inlets.
