The river Ganga has many bridges built over it over many years.
Out of many bridges we have given some of them. They are Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Janki Setu, Shashtri Bridge, Gandhi Setu, Arra-Chapra Bridge,Farakka Bridge, Bally Bridge, Nivedita Setu, Howrah Bridge, 2nd Hooghly Bridge.
গঙ্গা নদী ভারতের সবচেয়ে পবিত্র নদী। এটি আবার ভারতের মধ্যে প্রবাহিত দীর্ঘতম নদী। হিমালয়ের পাদদেশে গঙ্গোত্রী হিমবাহ এই নদীর উৎপত্তি স্থল। তারপর Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand হয়ে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ প্রবেশ করেছে এই নদী। তারপর এর প্রধান শাখাটি পদ্মা নদী নামে Bangladesh এ প্রবেশ করেছে এবং শেষে বঙ্গপসাগরে মিশেছে। আর পশ্চিমবঙ্গের ফারাক্কা থেকে একটি শাখা মিশেছে হুগলী নদিতে এবং এটিও কলকাতা হয়ে বঙ্গপসাগরে মিশেছে।
