Vlog #1 - DA50 RG Around the World Flight - The Mission Starts

Diamondo Earthrounding is finally airborne. In our first episode, Robin and Matt are departing Zurich (LSZH), Switzerland to pick up supplemental oxygen in Linz (LOWL), Austria and proceed onwards to Wiener Neustadt (LOAN) to visit the first sustainable initiative on their route, the Diamond Aircraft factory. ‪@DiamondAircraftInd‬ is known to produce light and aerodynamically efficient airframes, providing the ideal platforms for low fuel burn. After a tour of the factory, the crew continues Eastbound to Békés (LHBC) in Hungary.

Diamondo Earthrounding, a non-profit initiative, driven by a team of nine young aviators, has departed Zurich, Switzerland in a Diamond DA50 RG 5-seater aircraft on January 2nd, 2022. Flying in an Easterly direction to multiple airports, cities, and initiatives with a mission to connect worldwide projects for sustainable aviation, raise awareness of sustainable technologies and ways of use them when flying. By doing so, they aim to accelerate aviation’s path to net-zero carbon emissions.
