Floatel in Kolkata is India’s first floating hotel. It is floating on Hooghly river which is a distributary of Ganga river only. This eco friendly property is just a perfect combination of old heritage Calcutta with modern luxury facilities. The rooms or cabins have a great view of the river, Howrah bridge, second Hooghly bridge and of course the view of boat launches moving slowly from one side to another make it more lively. The sunset time in open deck area overlooking Hooghly river with cocktail and snacks was so magical.
