In the gleaming blue-skinned city of Sir'Kass, six-year-old Dorali is invisible—worse than invisible. When the ruthless Commander Gileser learns of their alliance, he sets in motion a hunt that will force both the broken child and the haunted soldier to make impossible choices. With primitive weapons against trained forces, and nothing but determination against a system built on cruelty, Eliot and Dorali must fight for something neither thought they could ever have again—a future worth living.
