as you can probably tell, we didn’t really plan this podcast, it kind of just happened —

PRO YAP POD ORIGIN STORY:

back in november of 2023 we first noticed each other at the gym every morning at an absurdly early hour. we started saying good morning in the sauna and locker room -- by early 2024 eventually small talk turned into YAP. before we were even friends we were already saying 'we could have a podcast about this' to all the ridiculous ""drama"" of the gym. we even made matching “THE GYM NAME SHOW” mugs as a joke birthday gift after getting coffees and going on a few hikes.

throughout the year, between helping each other during major life changes, realized we shared values beyond fitness — spirituality, self-development, and sisterhood became the foundation of the friendship we didn’t know we all needed.

we decided that we wanted to start sharing the conversations that brought us closer, because this friendship has changed everything.

this podcast is the mix of all that good stuff: friendship, personal growth, gym gossip, and a whole lot of real talk. you’ll hear us laugh HARD about stupid gym stuff, talk openly about mindset shifts that have actually helped us, share honestly how we’re trying to take care of ourselves in all the ways, and pull oracle cards to see what messages the universe (((DISCLAIMER we call the universe katarina, or kat for short, and she is a she)))) it’s a little woo-woo, and we’re always swearing and cursing — BUT I PROMISE ITS FUN so you should sub :)
