These are the sidings off the Sheerness-on-Sea branch line leading to Ridham Dock on the River Swale. The dock has not seen a railway service for over 20 years with freight going by road. The sidings also serve the nearby Knauf Plasterboard Factory which had a railway next to it but was not utilised. The access to the sidings in still maintained by Network Rail and still has a working signal and points. I think the track would need work if they were to be used again.
